Product Description
Climbup Insect Interceptors are a unique and easy-to-use monitoring system to aid in the early detection of bed bug infestations. ok these are not perfect, but they do work .. and I do recommend them. I had bed bugs and covered my mattress and box spring with the special covers. I also used these cups .. and waited. And waited. Finally after almost a month, I saw my first bed bug trapped in the outer ring, which means they are coming up from the floor rather than down from the bed. I was glad to finally see a bug after checking every night for weeks, but bummed that the truth is I have bed bugs in my carpet.
However .. .after a month, two of my cups broke. They cracked right where the legs of my bed make contact with the plastic, but only on my side of the bed. Now I weigh 125 lbs and my husband weighs 210 lbs .. and I’m not sure why they broke on my side and not on his … so keep in mind that they’re not perfect.
However, they do work. and they did provide valuable information about where the bugs are coming from. Just know that you should check them often for signs of compromise (breakage)

I ordered this product after finding out I had gotten bedbug from my previous apartment. I think they are very cheaply made but if you have carpet under the bed you are using this for you should be fine. I combined this with the Diatomaceous Earth powder and an exterminator. After the exterminator came I noticed bedbugs indeed trapped in the interceptor and after a day they were dissolved by the powder. The powder works but is very messy, I suggest getting the shaker version of it. Overall I am happy this products traps them I just wish the material it was made with was more sturdy.

we haven’t used it yet… however… you are paying for the clever idea of locating source of bed bugs.. 2 plastic cups (one inside the other) with talcum powder per bed post. So the bug comes either from the bed (lands in the inside cup) or the floor (lands in the outside cup) and you know more about the source. The talc keeps the bug from traveling between cups.

The trap wasn’t much useful as after 10 days also, it did not pick a single bug.
May be they are not on the floor and trying to climb up.
